This book follows David, an American expat, in Paris as he explores the freedom Paris offers its inhabitants that don’t exist back in his home country. The narrative mainly focuses on his internal conflict of reckoning with his bisexuality and his two loves Giovanni (Italian) and Hella (American). Dramatic irony plays a heavy role in the book as the narrative slowly unravels revealing the events leading up to the dramatic ending.
